During the months of April and June; skin up and ride down the "John Muir" route of the South Face, ride the West Face and surrounding bowls to a base camp in Hidden Valley, or accent the North American classic east facing Hotlum Wintum Ridge!
LASSEN
Lassen Peak 10,457'
Lassen Volcanic National Park is known to be ''one of California's most snowy places.'' It is an ideal location for our 2-3 day Introduction to Snow Camping excursion. Leave the crowds behind and join us December through May for a tour on a cascade volcano.
Sawtooth Range
Sawtooth ridge, In the scenic Hoover wilderness, a California classic offers a multitude of alpine options including Matterhorn peak 12,279, Ski of dreams, East and West Coulior, Polemonium Couloir, Twin Peaks, Horse Creek Peak, Whorl Mountain.
Hiking in five miles to establish an alpine base camp at 10,000' spend 3-5 days touring and climbing the numerous nearby chutes, and peaks. A great location for intro to splitboard mountaineering.
Virginia Lakes
Tour a secluded cirque of Eastern Sierra ''gems'' at Virginia Lakes, a great place for your next splitboard vacation! With terrain for all abilities, we can enjoy one- day trips or set up a base camp for multiple days to ride the surrounding mountains including Olson Peak, Dunderberg Peak, Black Mountain, Virginia Peak and many more. Virginia Lakes is a model spot for our Intro to Backcountry snowboarding trip December through May.
Tuolumne Meadows
Tuolumne meadows, all time spring splitboarding, join us April-June for day trips in the beautiful high country of Yosemite. Mount Dana, False white, Mount Conness.
